Surah Al-Fatihah ( The Opening ) - Aya count 7

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( 1 )

I GUDS, DEN NÅDERIKES, DEN BARMHÄRTIGES NAMN

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ( 2 )

Lov och pris tillkommer Gud, världarnas Herre,

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ( 3 )

den Nåderike, den Barmhärtige,

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ( 4 )

som allsmäktig råder över Domens dag!

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ( 5 )

Dig tillber vi; Dig anropar vi om hjälp.

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ( 6 )

Led oss på den raka vägen -

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ( 7 )

den väg de vandrat som Du har välsignat med Dina gåvor; inte de som har drabbats av [Din] vrede och inte de som har gått vilse!
